You’ve said “Don’t scratch” a hundred times — now discover what may actually help.

I Built the App
I Wish My Mom Had
I’m Ziv Bar, founder of AtopicKids. I’ve lived with eczema for 28 years. As a child, I scratched until I bled — and my mom didn’t know how to help. She tried everything: creams, doctors, even begging me to stop. But no one gave her simple tools she could use at home. Nothing to help her respond differently or guide me through the urge to scratch. There was a gap between medical care and what families actually needed day to day.

Ziv, 2005

That’s why I partnered with a top PhD clinical psychologist — to build something I wish she had back then: AtopicKids — a 4-week, guided program that teaches parents how to help their children manage scratching. It includes short daily lessons for you, followed by simple exercises to do together with your child. Each day builds skills like itch awareness, scratch resistance, and emotional resilience — all in just a few minutes.

The program is inspired by clinically studied techniques¹ shown to help reduce scratching with eczema — adapted to fit real family life at home.

AtopicKids is for every parent who feels helpless watching their child struggle
220 million people — 2.4% of the world — live with atopic dermatitis, but few families are ever given real tools to help at home. This isn’t just another app. It’s a new way to guide your child with confidence, connection, and hope.

In this video, you’ll learn how to help your child see the itch as a “scratch monster” — something they can name, understand, and learn to face with confidence.

The entire first week of the program is free.
